Most hosting benchmarks show you a single number โ€“ overall response time or uptime percentage. We thought that was too coarse to be useful when actually comparing providers.TTFB (Time To First Byte) is widely used as a proxy for server quality, but it bundles together very different things: DNS resolution, TCP handshake, TLS negotiation, and actual server processing time. A slow DNS provider can make a fast server look terrible, and vice versa.So we built Whspe (Web Hosting Specialist) around a methodology we're calling the Real Load Score.
